Passionated about French public readings and writing since a young age, I've always been immersed in voice and ambient sound recording.

For several years in my native region, the Loire Valley, France, I performed on the amateur theater stage too.

So, it was something natural to return to these first "hobbies", which became passions, by launching Vox Volubilis in early 2013.

Since then, from my private professional studio near Montreal, where I now live, I have been recording voice projects in French and English with a French accent for a global clientele.

Combined with a deeply personal and sensitive approach to the world, my naturally expressive, warm, and authentic mid-low voice conveys emotion, intention, and understanding, while also being capable of expressing a wide and subtle range of feelings, moods, and temperaments.

• 3.72 square meters isolated vocal booth:

  • Self-built as a "box within a box", located in a concrete semi-basement and acoustically treated

  • Dedicated to voiceover/narration recording

  • Remote: connected (wired: Ethernet connection) studio for live sessions

  • Matte and "neutral" sound, lively and natural, without reverb or boomy effects

  • Noise floor -70dB rms

  • Broadcast quality dry source file from the moment of recording (no treatment / no filter)

• Professional equipment:

  • Neumann TLM 103D microphone, Tascam US144 MKii, Audio Technica M30 headphones, shockmount suspension, metal pop filter, Rycote Lyre suspension system, two 27-inch screens (+2*27" 4K in the control room), etc.
